Like the Sound of the Sea

Like the sound of the sea, some words are a balm to the soul,
weaving delight and gratitude in equal measure.
These words did precisely that for me this morning.
I gave Edward a big hug and we went for a walk under a bright November sky.
We were both smiling.

Pamela,
I'm not surprised that so many find comfort and joy in reading your beautiful words. I hope to receive your book for Christmas, if not, I will be ordering as a gift to myself.

....and soon I'll have my very own copy to enjoy - I just ordered it this evening Pamela. I'll be watching for the mailman!

Tell Edward he'll be getting a quiet spot to rest in my little cottage as I read your lovely essays.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments whilst I was traveling dear.

Hugs - Mary

Well I have just discovered your blog and what a treat. Such beautiful writing, a wonderful way with words, painting pictures. And what can I say about Edward, such a handsome, cuddlesome chap he is.
I look forward to reading more, and often!

I discovered your blog through Tish at A Femme d'Un Certain Age.
It's beautiful, and I look forward to reading more~ anyone whose journey includes a wonderful friend such as Edward, must be a good soul.
