One Whole Year!
I can hardly believe it, but the calendar does not lie. Today is the one year anniversary
of From the House of Edward! Amazing. I actually planned this blog to focus more on my design work, but instead found it to be a welcome diversion from my design work. So much so in fact, that I have come to relish my writing here on an equal level. Life is certainly not a straight line. It curves and spirals and surprises.
I send my most sincere thanks to all of you who visit here. I am constantly grateful for your sweet comments and e-mails of encouragement. You are most generous and I am tickled beyond measure to know you enjoy your little holidays here.
So, I invite you to join Edward and I in our celebration of one whole year! Raise a glass or pick up a favourite book, eat some ice cream or fill a vase with flowers, listen to - or sing - your favourite song. Or just give a dog a hug!
And Happy Anniversary!!

Happy Anniversary Pamela and Edward! I indeed raised a glass of Tattinger today, it is in fact Champagne Thursday in my little corner of Anchorage (every Thursday at 4 PM my neighbor Joan and I share a glass of Champagne and discuss and solve all of lifes problems), and hugged my 3 dogs! Thanks for your sweet and peaceful posts and artwork. Very enjoyable respite in my day. Cheers and Love!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Pamela for visiting my blog and leaving your kind comments, it is one reason why I am encouraged to continue.
I remember thinking when I came across your blog, that I was glad to have discovered it soon after you began writing.
This because I respect your take on things, and how you put them through.
Your food for thought is put into words orchestrated so beautifully, carefully, yet spontaneously that it gives pleasure, that it diverts ones attention, and casts it upon something I may have forgotten and love to be reminded of, or may have been dwelling upon and surprised to see it reflected!
Your writing is one of those few that come alive in imagination, with colour, form and feel.
I seriously forget I am at work when I read.
Therefore I am not surprised it is popular, nor that you touch people so deeply, and sometimes i tell people of a link I know they would like...
Congrats and happy anniversary Pamela (and hugs to Edward). Your blog is such a delight. A perfect mix of gorgeous images and poetic, insightful, resonant writing. It's a fabulous diversion to visit - I'm always happy I came and always regret I don't manage it more frequently.
ReplyDeleteLove your recent insights on music, the change of the seasons, the wonder that is Carl Larsson and the serendipity that are 'happy accidents', etc... Thanks so much for your online 'voice' and presence!
Happy anniversary to you and Edward and more importantly, thank you for your wonderful posts and beautiful images. xv
