Love's Philosophy

by Percy Bysshe Shelley

The fountains mingle with the river,

And the rivers with the ocean;

The winds of heaven mix forever

With a sweet emotion;

Nothing in the world is single;

All things by a law divine

In another's being mingle--

Why not I with thine?

See, the mountains kiss high heaven,

And the waves clasp one another;

No sister flower could be forgiven

If it disdained its brother;

And the sunlight clasps the earth,

And the moonbeams kiss the sea;--

What are all these kissings worth,

If thou kiss not me?

Edward and I send our sweetest wishes for a very romantic St. Valentine's Day!!

  7. Happy Valentines Day to you!

    I am so sad. Sometime last year, I used one of the photos you posted as my computer wallpaper and it made me so happy every day when i logged on. My computer got sick and had to be "re-imaged" and it the process the photo was lost.

    I love the beautiful art you post -almost as much as your incredible written prose. Now I will be watching every post of the perfect illustration. I'll be looking for the perfect photo. One that can inspire - even when the office is in chaos!
