"I am so honored"
Edward

I was so tickled to receive this beautiful likeness of Edward done by
Patricia van Essche of
PVE Design. Doesn't he look handsome?
Thank you so much, Patricia. You made our day!

  1. From the House of Bentley to Edward,
You have a gorgeous coat and my master loved illustrating you. I must get on the ole gal to illustrate "moi" - Sir Bentley.
It is a bit like the shoemaker with no shoes around here...hmm, did I just say shoes. Off to chase some squirrels and then have my supper.
    Cheerio -

  7. What a lovely gift, Edward is certainly a very handsome chap but has such a friendly face, I want to give him a big hug!
I have just read your wonderful post below and you describe your rooms so beautifully I could felt I could see them too. I wonder could the tower bedroom be the one at Armathwaite Hall, which overlooks Bassenthwaite lake??

  9. I just saw your post on Mrs. Blandings, and thought I would come over to see who had offered her such sage advice. I look forward to reading your blog today...but first, I must go out and walk the dog (was planning on doing it anyway, but when I read your advice to Mrs. B it sounded like an even better plan).

    Lovely portrait!

  13. Lovely painting. She has caught his regal pose beautifully.

I love the description of the rain like artillery in your previous post. It's still like that here in the NW of the UK. I got woken by it this morning.
