Thank you for the food we eat,
Thank you for the world so sweet,
Thank you for the birds that sing,

Thank you God for everything.

  1. Pamela! I love that little grace. My kids recite it before every meal.
Wishing you the loveliest, most delicious Thanksgiving. Would love to be a fly on the wall there, absorbing your interesting conversations far into the night, your crackling fire, and the gentle snores of those furry, gentle friends. I am thankful for the beauty of your words, and the purity of your soul. Thank you for enriching my life every week.

  18. That is my favourite grace, too Pamela. The dogs look as though they are waiting for their share of the turkey. A Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

  25. Happy Thanksgiving Pamela. One of the things I've missed the most in my reading-other-people's-blogs hiatus during deadlines is reading your lovely lovely blog (oh, I'd love that rabbit also!! and the swirly hats! and suede journals!) Thank *you* for sharing all your gorgeous sensibilities.

  27. I believe every British child learned to recite that sweet 'grace'. This brought back many beautiful memories, thank you Pamela.

Appreciate your efforts on the brickmaker's table contest - what a difficult job. Even though I didn't place, it was fun just seeing my room on Brooke's always fabulous blog!! (In all honestly it would have been a squeeze in my small cottage - but later I was planning to gift it to a dear friend who has the perfect room for it!).

Happy day - I'm off to search for beauty now!!!
    Hugs - Mary

  34. Hope you had a lovely happy 'Thanks giving' :)
Your black dog reminds me of rolf in the little white horse/secret of moonacre!
That orange thing around his neck makes him resemble a lion even more so!
