Thanks for thinking of us. It somehow means so much to hear from another PON family. On the screen Edwards face on the sidebar is on the same level as Wilfs. They look so much alike - happy and trusting.
I am so sorry to hear this. We lost our Charlie to cancer and I miss his little ShihTzu smile every day..but he led me to adopt Braxton and then Lulu. He is still around, in our hearts, whispering to the other dogs..
It will be so hard..so very hard. Gentle hugs for all from Utah..
Hi Pamela, I have been over and left a comment. It is such a sad time when one loses such a friend. I always think that it's the one drawback of having a pet. I remember when they lost their other dog, which wasn't that long ago so it must be so hard for them. At least they have many memories of all the fun they had together. XXXX
Dear Pamela and Edward: At Angus' suggestion, I've been following suggestion, I've been following you both for more than a year and have so enjoyed your posts. I have had the worse time concentrating on anything but Angus, Wilf and their family today. How heartbreaking. But I knew I'd find a special post from you on this terribly terribly sad day.
How very sad for your friend and dear Wilf. What a heartbreak and know how hard it is to say goodbye to such an important member of the family. I still think of our beautiful gentle Giant Schnauzer Heidi, every day. Miss having her about, the walks and her sweet company.
Thank you Pamela for posting this about such a sweet dog. My eyes are filled with tears. Reminds me of when our sheep dog passed. They truly are a breed with a magnificent soul. I appreciated the C.S. Lewis quote. So perfect.
I love to read your comments! Each and every one! Though I'm always reading your comments, I may not respond in the comment section. If you want to write me directly, you may do so at pamela@pamelaterry.net. Thank you for reading!
Thank you so much for the sweet comment! We'll head over & visit Wilf now!

ReplyDeleteIt is so sad...the loss of a pup....my friends have been in the same spot this week too, loosing their beloved Labrador....xv
ReplyDeleteThe tears won't stop -- and how doubly sad you must feel since Edward and Wilf look so much alike and share so many traits.

Went for a visit, Pamela...thank you for sending up the flare.
ReplyDeleteThis is so very sad. You can see what a sweet nature Wilf has... praying for his comfort and for their hearts. xo
ReplyDeleteIt is sad that this should be happening so soon after their loss of Digby. Angus writes beautifully of Wilf's days.
ReplyDeleteKind words and kind deeds make the world go around~
ReplyDeleteHopping on over to the blog you suggested....
Angus' post is bittersweet. Left a note...
ReplyDeleteOMG! I can't bear it! first Digby and now Wilf! Life is just not FAIR!!!! I am inconsolable!
